Our Awareness Through Movement® Lessons - and How Do They Work?

The centrepiece of the Feldenkrais® method are lessons called Awareness Through Movement®. We have 100s of them to teach. You need never be bored.

  • You lie down in a cosy spot → with your rug, mat, pillows, props or bed

  • I talk to guide you → gentle movement explorations are choreographed to teach you new patterns and ways of being

  • We include frequent rests → you settle and drop down into an intimate experience of yourself

  • Tune in and sense yourself → in motion and at rest

  • The lessons are human-paced with you in control → we dwell on comfort and mindful investigation with step-by-step improvement

  • The uses for these lessons are individual → for self-discovery, high level co-ordination, easeful movement recovery and to aid mental stillness
