SAT 9:30 Drop-In Classes, York Pilates People (to 25 May)

The easy way to opt in to a class if your time is unpredictable - space permitting.

Explore novel movement patterns, alongside effective learning and self-care strategies. We focus on easy and slow movements with an emphasis on awareness.

In just one hour, feel greater ease and vitality as you get a taste of how to use your body in an entirely new way.

This term, to celebrate Mental Health Awareness Week in May, we will explore lessons that highlight the stress-relieving, calming aspects of Awareness Through Movement. We will revisit primal movements that we learnt in our earliest years as we rediscover an easygoing, childlike approach to learning. We will refine our most basic movement patterns - rolling, transitioning from lying to other positions, bearing weight and locomoting - moving from A to B.

This half term, classes run to 25 May. Next half term will start on 8 June at the new time of 10:30.
